General information, not advice on your circumstances

Descriptions of services, articles and downloadable materials on this site are general information and are not a substitute for advice tailored to the facts of a particular employment situation. Employment law and regulatory requirements can change. No professional engagement is created merely by browsing, downloading material or sending an enquiry.

I do not hold myself out as a law firm, solicitor, barrister, regulated legal adviser or technical cybersecurity specialist. Where a matter needs regulated legal work or specialist assistance, that need will be identified separately.

Engaging my services

Consultancy, investigations, recruitment and training are subject to separate agreed terms of business, scope, responsibilities, applicable fees and payment arrangements. A website enquiry or informal conversation does not guarantee availability or constitute acceptance of an assignment. Please do not send confidential case files before agreeing suitable arrangements.

Website accuracy and availability

I aim to keep site content useful and accurate but cannot promise uninterrupted website access or that every statement will remain current. I may update or remove pages or resources and correct errors. Where a particular matter is time-sensitive, please contact me for current information.

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original text, brand design, artwork and downloadable resources are made available for normal browsing and internal evaluation of my services. They must not be reproduced, republished or sold without permission or another lawful basis. Third-party logos and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Use of my business name on the site should not be understood as a claim that every element is a registered trade mark.

External websites and downloads

Links to external websites are provided for convenience. I do not control their content or data practices. PDF documents can be downloaded for information, but they do not form a contract or bespoke advice unless expressly agreed in writing.

Responsibility and applicable law

Nothing in these website terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to mandatory law, the site is supplied for general business information and any professional engagement will be governed by its own agreed terms.

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any overriding legal rights that apply to a visitor.
